The Faculty of Engineering held a signing ceremony for a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) regarding the Master’s Double Degree Program in Chemical Engineering and Materials Engineering between the Faculty of Engineering, Kasetsart University and the College of Engineering, Tunghai University, Republic of China (Taiwan).
Prof. Dr. Wanchai Yodsudjai, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, signed the agreement with Professor Dr. Chin-Yin Huang, Dean of Engineering College, Tunghai University. The ceremony was witnessed by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chanin Panjapornpon, Head of Chemical Engineering Department, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ratchatee Techapiesancharoenkij, Head of Materials Engineering Department, and faculty members from both institutions.
Under this agreement, both institutions will collaborate to develop master’s degree students in Chemical Engineering, Materials Engineering, or other engineering fields in the Faculty of Engineering. Students will take courses and conduct thesis research under the joint supervision of advisors from both institutions. Upon completion, students will receive Double Degrees from both the Faculty of Engineering, Kasetsart University and the College of Engineering, Tunghai University. Following this agreement, the KU-Tunghai University Master’s Double Degree Program will begin accepting students from the first semester of the 2025 academic year onwards.
During the signing ceremony, Asst. Prof. Dr. Supapatchree Roddecha from the Department of Chemical Engineering presented the program information, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chanin Panjaporpon, Head of Chemical Engineering Department, presented an overview of current collaboration and future cooperative activities. Faculty members from both the Chemical Engineering and Materials Engineering Departments, as well as faculty from the Department of Chemical and Materials Engineering, Tunghai University, attended the ceremony as witnesses.
