

On September 2, 2025, the Faculty of Engineering, Kasetsart University (KU) warmly welcomed representatives from Saitama University and Gunma University, Japan, for a collaborative meeting held at Chuchat Kamphu Building. The visit was hosted by Asst. Prof. Dr. Jiramate Changklom, Assistant Dean for International Affairs, along with Asst. Prof. Dr. Chatuphorn Chatuphorn and Pitjutha Juangphanich, International Affairs Officer.
The meeting served as a valuable opportunity to discuss ways to strengthen academic collaboration and foster closer ties between the institutions. Key topics included plans for a short-term exchange program in March 2026, which will feature cultural and academic activities for students, as well as potential joint research projects on important environmental and engineering issues. Both sides also explored future opportunities for inbound and outbound mobility programs, aiming to promote cross-cultural understanding, knowledge sharing, and long-term cooperation. This partnership highlights the Faculty of Engineering’s ongoing commitment to expanding its international network and providing meaningful experiences for students and faculty members from Thailand and Japan.
