The Faculty of Aerospace Engineering, Kasetsart University, participated in The 15th TSME International Conference on Mechanical Engineering (TSME-ICoME 2025), held at Arnoma Grand Bangkok Hotel. Faculty members and students from the department presented research papers in various fields related to mechanical and aerospace engineering.
Among the presented works, the paper entitled “Microbubble Drag Reduction on a Gentoo Penguin-Inspired Body: CFD Modeling and Bioinspired Flow Control Analysis,” authored by Mr. Prug Hangsaprug, Ms. Nannapat Apichiranuwat, and Mr. V. Juttijudata, was presented under the Automotive, Aerospace, and Marine Engineering (AME) session. The research focuses on computational fluid dynamics (CFD) modeling and bioinspired flow control techniques to investigate drag reduction mechanisms based on penguin-inspired geometries.

This research paper received the Best Paper Award at the conference, reflecting its academic quality and contribution to the field. The Faculty of Aerospace Engineering extends its congratulations to all participating students and commends the award recipients on their outstanding achievement, reaffirming the faculty’s commitment to promoting research excellence and international academic engagement.
