Kasetsart University Promotes Education at Thai Festival in Beijing 2026

Representatives from Kasetsart University participated in the Thai Festival in Beijing 2026, held at Chaoyang Park in Beijing, People’s Republic of China .

Kasetsart University was honored to be one of the top 10 leading universities in Thailand selected to join the Education Zone , showcasing the strength and potential of Thai higher education.

The event was organized by the Royal Thai Embassy in Beijing with the aim of promoting Thai culture, cuisine , innovation , and education to the Chinese public. It also served to strengthen the close relationship between Thailand and China through people-to-people connections.

The opening ceremony was presided over by H.E. Mr. Chatchai Viriyavejakul, Ambassador of Thailand to Beijing, along with distinguished guests from both the public and private sectors of Thailand and China.

The festival featured a vibrant Thai atmosphere, including Thai cuisine , cultural performances , and engaging activities such as traditional Thai dance and Muay Thai demonstrations .

In the Education Zone, representatives from Kasetsart University included:

• Associate Professor Dr. Suchart Luangprasert, Deputy Dean for Administration, Faculty of Engineering

• Acting Sub Lieutenant Dr. Jul Thanasrivanichai, Assistant Dean for Strategic Administration and Physical Development, Faculty of Business Administration, and Chair of the International MBA Program

They were joined by staff from the International Affairs Division, who provided information to prospective students and parents regarding international programs , admission requirements, tuition fees, facilities, and support services for international students .

Kasetsart University is delighted to have participated in this event, marking another important step in fostering mutual understanding between Thailand and China, while reinforcing its commitment to internationalization and sustainable academic collaboration.
